Mantra Celebrates International Women’s Day 2021

Monday March 8th 2021 is International Women’s Day

As an all-female team here at Mantra, we have a big commitment to empowering and supporting women and girls to be strong, confident individuals, and we are keen supporters of International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. It has been celebrated for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people.

Each year, it has a different theme, and this year’s theme is:

#ChooseToChallenge

The thinking is that from challenge comes change – so let's all choose to challenge. Let’s look out for things that need to be challenged, and then go ahead and challenge them - to help forge a gender equal world.

Now, more than ever, with the challenges of the Coronavirus disproportionately affecting women economically more than men, it is even more important to press ahead with change.
