Mantra Jewellery and Smart Works announce a partnership for 2017
We have teamed up with UK charity Smart Works, to create a 2017 partnership: a unique initiative that helps promote and support female self-belief in the workplace.
Smart Works provides high quality interview clothes, styling advice and interview training to women in need, and every piece of our jewellery represents a powerful mantra, intended to bring positivity and encouragement to the wearer, creating a natural affinity with Smart Works.
“Mantra Jewellery is about positivity, self-belief and inspiration; while Smart Works gives women the confidence and self-belief, as well as the practical tools, to start a new chapter of their life. We are both aiming for the same things, so this partnership is very exciting for us both,” explains Jo Stroud, Mantra Founder.
To cement the partnership, we will also be donating 300 necklaces to Smart Works over the next year, to directly support women using the service.
“At Smart Works, we dress and train disadvantaged women for interview success, and it is our privilege to witness the power that looking and feeling great about yourself can have on a woman's ability to succeed. We are proud to be working in partnership with Mantra, and share their vision of positivity, encouragement and self-belief. It is wonderful to work with them on this project,” adds Chief Executive of Smart Works, Kate Stephens.
We have also designed a delicate disc pendant in honour of this new partnership, with the empowering and motivating mantra, 'Believe in yourself. We do’. Carrying the powerful word, 'Believe', to represent the mantra, and with the iconic lotus symbol below it, the disc necklace will retail at £35 for sterling silver and £55 for gold and rose gold plating. We will donate 25% of the sale of each 'Believe' necklace directly to Smart Works.
The new Mantra necklace will launch in April, while the partnership itself commences in March, to coincide with International Women’s Day, a day which recognises the social, economic and political achievement of women. A clothing drive, and fundraising cycling challenge, will kick off the partnership. Take a look at our events page for more information on upcoming challenges and events which you can get involved in.
We have an ongoing campaign ‘My Best Self’, a series of initiatives to help women achieve their personal best for the year ahead, with blogs, planners and ideas from the mantra team on how you can be your best self this year on everything from wellbeing, appreciation and love to fulfilling your dreams.
